- Hilti (GB) Limited have identified that, due to a manufacturing fault, the active component of the CFS-VB ventilated cavity barrier might not be properly attached. The staples used to fix the intumescent strip in place to the mineral wool component of the cavity barrier may not be of the required number. This may lead to partial detachment of the intumescent strip in the case of fire, potentially reducing the final fire performance of the cavity barrier.
